A Cognaa domain isn't a tag — it's a full graph of prerequisite-linked knowledge components, each with mastery parameters, scaffolding levels, and spaced-review schedules. When your child explores a domain, they're traversing a graph, not a flat checklist.
Knowledge components
Each domain is broken down into 50–2,000 atomic skills (KCs). Every KC has a prerequisite edge map and Bayesian mastery parameters. Your child's progress is tracked at this atomic level.
Framework-mapped
Every KC in every domain is mapped to the framework(s) you've selected. Progress in "Multiply Fractions" simultaneously counts toward CCSS 5.NF.B.4 and CBSE Class V Math and TEKS 5.3.H — depending on your frame.
Age & grade-aware
Tools and content are automatically gated by grade. A Grade 3 learner adding Music won't see AP-level theory; a Grade 10 adding Computer Science unlocks systems and algorithms depth.
